Silver Junkie "Maria" album: Streets&Boulevards (2011) Animation by Gitte Le Bruyn Gitte Le Bruyn graduated as a visual artist in 2008 from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. For one of her exhibitions, she worked with the music of Tino Biddeloo. This time they reversed the process and Gitte created an animation video inspired by and based on the Silver Junkie song "Maria". She created a series of oil paintings on glass, which she lit and photographed. Through editing of the images, the painting becomes alive, resulting in a digital animation film. The professional editing was done by Ruben Beunckens.
